The city of the Dom Tower and much more! You can certainly spend enough beautiful days here at one of the many terraces on the inland waterways. Utrecht was one of the first cities in today's Netherlands with city rights and has a long history and an important historical center.
From harbour Eiland van Maurik you sail via the Nederrijn and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal to Utrecht. The first part over the Nederrijn will be relatively quiet, compared to the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. This is because the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal is connected to the Ruhr area. You will sail towards the West and after passing Rijswijk you will arrive at the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. Here you keep to the North-East and sail to Utrecht. Keep in mind that you will not sail up and down within one day, so you will have to temporarily use another port.
